BEIJING.....I AM REALLY READY

I think i am set and ready for China. Not that I have started packing yet or anything like that.

So you have probably heard by now the smog in Beijing has not cleared, there are no blue skies as dreamed by the chinese and the athletes have been given the opportunity to withdraw from the games should they choose. So I regret to advise that I have decided to withdraw from my event of Dog Eating......lol

5 Days to go! Boy has this come around so quickly. It feels like yesterday Daniel and I were sitting in the stadium in Athens 2004 talking about how great Beijing will be. Well we are yet to see just how great it will be cause the Chinese system and way of life seems way to odd for me to consider calling it 'normal'.

13 DAYS TO GO...

...Not that anyones counting. Im starting to get a little excited. I don't know if its the rush of going oversea's or the anxiety of going away for that long. I'll miss my puppies so much.

So much to do before I go and none of it has even begun. I have the suitcase out at least but thats only cause I still have not put it away since the last time I travelled. I should start getting my shit together.

I'm flying to Singapore on the new A380 so that should be pretty cool. I hope there is more leg room than the standard cattle class thats for sure. I've just checked out their website and there are some good movies playing so that should keep my mind of wanting a ciggy for at least 5 seconds.....
